Todd Burns, our President and CEO [Cypher Environmental] has always had a clear vision of creating a leading global company without trade-offs. He knew that it was possible to build a successful business in a way that would benefit the environment, customers, and communities alike. With so much momentum going in the right direction, it was important to take some time away from the office at the end of last year to refocus on the future of Cypher. The result is a set of Core Values that shows what really matters to us at Cypher Environmental, and what will motivate us going forward.

Cypher aims to influence the lives of people around the world by building better roads with zero-environmental impact. We know that what is good for the planet is good for its people too and we relate to our customers as if they were neighbours.

There are so many people who are affected by road conditions, so it is not just about selling Cypher products to the people who build roads. We care about the people in Honduras who can now hang their laundry out to dry because the road is no longer dusty, the farmer in Nigeria who no longer has to worry about road chemicals running onto his crops when it rains, and the parents in Columbia who can now drive their children to school without hitting a pothole. These are the real lives that are changed by our efforts, and they are the people that matter the most.

We live and breathe roads because we know the impact they have in our communities and in the world around us. We are experts in our field and have built roads in over 50 countries and 6 continents specializing in industries including Mining, Construction, Agriculture, and Municipal Development. We pride ourselves with the ability to deliver world-class service and on-site expertise no matter where in the world our customer may be. Through all of this we come to understand the needs of our clients and are able to custom tailor our products for their unique requirements.
In addition, we make an effort to speak regularly on global stages and media to promote a positive shift towards greener road solutions. We also stay connected to industry experts through our many association memberships and involvement with academic institutions.

Everything we do betters the planet
We believe the only way to better the planet is through ZERO environmental impact solutions. We have a clear corporate mandate at Cypher Environmental to ensure all of our products are designed to solve environmental issues present in communities and industries worldwide. We are the only company of our kind who uses all-natural, organic-based biodegradable ingredients in the creation of every product.
The products we have developed such as ROAD//STABILIZR® and DUST/BLOKR® are inherently better for the planet compared to alternatives on the market because of their natural properties. The benefits of these same Cypher products reach far beyond soil stabilization and dust control – they also help our customers decrease their environmental impact by creating more efficient roads.

Giving back is mandatory
We believe in giving back so much that we donate 15% of profits to local charities and up to 5% of project values to the local communities where our solutions are being used. This commitment is part of Cypher’s Environment Social Governance plan, but it also supports our tagline to “Always do what’s right.” With the success that Cypher has experienced in the last 10+ years, giving back is no longer our choice, it is our responsibility. We aim to set an example for everyone in our industry and encourage our distributors and customers alike to follow the same principles. In fact, Cypher has plans to expand on their ESG plan in 2021 to further their contributions to communities around the world. Stay tuned!
President Todd Burns explains that this approach has always come naturally to him, however with his accomplishments in business over the years he is even more aware of its importance, “once you achieve a certain amount of success, there is a responsibility to give back.”
