Talking Cypher Green Roads on The DIG

Cypher Environmental’s CEO Todd Burns recently joined Ryan McEachern, Executive Director of the Mining Suppliers Trade Association Canada (MSTA) to discuss what Sustainability, Environmental & Social Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mean at Cypher Environmental.  Cypher recently launched our Cypher Green Roads initiative as way for our company and the companies we work with to give back to the communities situated close to project sites. The Cypher Green Roads initiative provides us with the framework to share our cleantech and environmentally friendly road management solutions with communities that might not otherwise have access as well as our technical know-how on how to maintain the safest and sturdiest roads.  Ryan and Todd also discuss the emergence of ESG initiatives in mining as a top priority, as we collective battle the challenges brought on by climate change.

We are proud to share the framework behind Cypher Green Roads with other members of MSTA CANADA as we are the organization’s first member company to have launch a program focused on ESG in mining. “We have developed a framework that has allowed us to give back to communities around the world,” says Todd Burns, CEO of Cypher Environmental. “From communities here in Canada to communities in Mali, Africa, we have seen firsthand the impact such a program can have on small communities. We want to share this framework with others so that they may adopt similar initiatives, and help more communities around the world reach net-zero goals.”

Our groundbreaking approach to bettering communities and the environment is described as “visionary and innovative” by host Ryan McEachern. Watch the full episode below:
