August 5, 2020 – The Winnipeg Free Press featured Cypher Environmental in an article about our growing global and domestic success.
Since it’s inception in 2010, Cypher Environmental has had more growth globally, than here in Canada with our environmentally friendly road stabilization and dust suppression products — about 15-20% of our sales happen in Canada. That’s a stat we are hoping to increase!
A recent contract in Northern Canada totaling about $2 million is opening up the domestic market for us.
This contract with Baffinland Iron Mines for the Mary River Mine on Baffin Island, Nunavut will also be our first large donation after announcing our Environmental Social Governance plan. With the help of Nunavut Sealink & Supply Inc (NSSI), we have donated enough DUST/BLOKR® to treat 10km of untreated roads to the nearby hamlet of Pond Inlet to control dust on community roads. NSSI is an Inuit majority-owned Nunavut based company, who shipped the 38 totes of DUST/BLOKR® at no cost to Pond Inlet.
We hope this opportunity will lead to more sales on airstrips in the North, as both DUST/BLOKR® and ROAD//STABILIZR® are certified safe for contact with aircraft.
