Essential Position Requirements
As a Marketing Manager for Cypher, you must be an adaptable, self-motivated, high-energy person with a strong work ethic and a coachable attitude. You must be a highly personable individual with strong communication and writing skills, charisma, as well as the ability to take on special projects upon request. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently as well as in a team setting while remaining accountable to company directives and strategic initiatives.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:
- Post -secondary education in a related field
- Highly skilled at and capable of writing valuable and compelling content
- In-depth understanding of social media principles and advertising strategy
- High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated willingness to take initiative and desire to learn and seek new ideas
- Demonstrated ability to complete all tasks with keen attention to detail
- Capable of marketing design work
- Understanding of marketing design work
- If required, able to travel domestically
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to sell ideas across various audiences
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, write, and post website/social media content
- Liaise with 3rd party brand positioning agency
- Liaise with 3rd party marketing and social media companies
- Write social media content, manage posting schedule and track marketing KPIs and ROIs
- Assist with the development of advertising promotions and potential marketing strategies
- Assist with planning of charitable and promotional company events
- Management of company branding and promotional assets
- Input and assist Cypher to meet growth targets
- Demonstrate strength in obtaining results through a clear focus on goals and accountability, communications, and knowledge of the business
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Responsible for the oversight, development and implementation of the marketing plans, taking into consideration budget estimates, objectives, and corporate initiatives
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement throughout the organization and work closely with leadership to implement
- Establish and maintains professional relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners, including the management of relationships with Cypher distributors
- Create and maintain a positive company culture that supports employee participation
- Other duties as assigned
