Innovation and Success – A Review of 2015 for Cypher Environmental

Overall, 2015 was a great year for Cypher. It was filled with new projects, lots of travel, and of course further innovation, which is the foundation that Cypher is built upon.

We constantly strive to innovate and this year was no exception compared to years past. Six new Research and Development projects were started, with a continued focus on our soil stabilizationdust control and water remediation technologies. This research was devoted not only to developing new and unique applications for the solutions we offer, but also to find ways to improve them and develop new solutions for some common problems that exist in the world today. We look forward to putting some of these new innovative ideas and technologies to work in 2016!

With regards to the travel, we not only took part in the annual Canadian conferences and trade shows that we always do, such as CIM, PDAC and Naturallia, but attended some international events for the first time in Latin America. These included Extemin, South America’s largest mining conference and trade show, in Arequipa, Peru, and the Colombian National Infrastructure Congress, in Cartagena, Colombia. Both events allowed us to showcase our road stabilization and road dust control solutions, ROAD//STABILIZR® and DUST/BLOKR®, to a wider audience, and the future looks bright in both countries in 2016 as a result of the connections we made. Of course, there were a number of other visits by our team to other Latin American countries throughout the year, including stops in Mexico, Honduras and Costa Rica, all of which have ongoing projects that will be continuing in 2016. These projects vary widely, showing the versatility of the solutions we offer, ranging from mine haul road dust control, to secondary road stabilization, to remediation of water in the agricultural post-harvest process, quite a unique application for the UltraZyme line of products.

In order to continue on the path towards being a world-class organization, we continually seek to bring on world class team members and were happy to announce bringing on a few new staff in 2015 who are helping us to achieve this goal.

This year was culminated in a great new video that was developed for us a result of our nomination in the 2015 MBiz awards, put on by the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce. The video is a great example of Cypher at work, doing research and innovating in the labs, working on soil stabilization projects around the world and showing various members of our team getting the job done right here in the office. We look forward to continued success in 2016 and continuing to grow and prosper as an organization, as well as develop new and innovative solutions to help make this world a better place. Please see the video below and we look forward to sharing more good news with you in 2016!
