Winnipeg’s Cypher Environmental Attends Trade Mission with Prime Minister Harper

Wednesday, February 19th, 2014 (WINNIPEG) – Cypher Environmental, one of Winnipeg’s leading environmental firms, has embarked on a trade mission to Mexico alongside Right Hon. Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Cypher, which is headquartered in Winnipeg, was invited to take part in the trade conference by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development.

The conference is currently ongoing in Mexico City, Mexico and will conclude on Thursday, February 20th.

Cypher is being represented by President and Owner Todd Burns, who has been instrumental in the company’s increased services in international markets and has been sought out for trade missions and presentations at industry conferences. This includes collaborating with the World Trade Centre in Winnipeg and Sao Paulo and rebuilding schools in Buena Ventura, Colombia.

“This is an exciting opportunity for Cypher Environmental,” Burns said. “We have taken a dedicated approach to our international opportunities and have worked closely with businesses and governments, especially in South America, on mining projects, roads and infrastructure for various industries and government projects. Our high quality products are providing dust control, soil stabilization and water treatment in an environmentally-friendly manner to a variety of locations and we look forward to the opportunity to work with Mexican mining companies.”

During the mission, which commenced on Monday, February 17th, Burns will be participating in meetings with Mexican businesses and a variety of ceremonies alongside Prime Minister Harper.

Prime Minister Harper will also be in trade agreement discussions with U.S. President Barack Obama and the President of the United Mexican States Enrique Peña Nieto.
